Social Committee

The Clarksville Seventh-day Adventist Church Social Committee plays a vital role in fostering a strong sense of Christian community and belonging within our church family. Rooted in the biblical principles of fellowship and unity found in the early church (Acts 2:42-47), we are dedicated to creating opportunities for connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth through engaging activities. We believe that nurturing these bonds strengthens our collective walk with Christ and enhances our ability to serve God and our wider community. Our events and gatherings are designed to promote fellowship, mutual support, and a joyful expression of our shared faith and hope in the soon return of Jesus. By actively participating in these social connections, members are encouraged in their spiritual journey and empowered to live out their faith in meaningful ways.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
